Artwork of chinese silk embroidery with floreal and bird subjects.
Looking the silk supports is possible to see the irregularity of the silk texture, that proves the work on the ancient weaving loom.
The floreal and bird subjects were sew by hand with colored silk threads. 
The Chinese characters are painted, with an harmonious calligraphy.
The embroidery was framed with glass, to protect the silk work.

The typology of the embroidery is Xiang style which has a long history of about 2,000 years and comes from Hunan in central China. With this embroidery it is possible to create representations of animals, flowers and people down to the smallest details, as it uses different types of stitches, ordered in different ways and directions.
