This Mini was originally sold in Italy and is in good condition
From its 2nd owner from the Lake Garda region, who kept it in good condition.

The Mini British Open was issued as an anniversary edition by Rover in 1997 and was the most luxurious Mini available at the time, +/- 5,000 were built of which only 1,500 were in British Racing Green.
Has always been kept indoors and was well maintained. Completely original. Beautiful metallic British Racing green paint, original 12" Pepperpot rims with perfect tyres, original striping and, of course, an electric sunroof.
The Mini also has chrome wideners and threshold strips. 

The Mini has a unique half-leather Burberry interior, green carpet and a beautiful walnut dashboard with a matching shift lever and SRS Airbag steering wheel.


Exterior:
Deep green British racing green paint, in very good used condition, neat chrome bumpers (original Rover) new chrome 9 slat grill, chrome grill surround mouldings. green tinted glass, new window and door rubbers and window seals. green painted side mirrors, electric sunroof black, original black wheel arches with chrome covers, original 12" Pepperpot rims with good tyres, original Rover Mini exhaust with a catalytic converter, Mini Wingbadges and original rear fog light.


Interior: 
Original Creme-coloured Burberry MPI half-leather seats, matching rear seat, neat original door panels, and a beautiful walnut dashboard with matching gear knob.
 The Mini features tinted front windows,

The Mini has both front and rear seatbelts, is equipped with an alarm and immobiliser (original) and has 1 set of original keys with remote control.
 The headliner is in good condition, but has a few minor holes at the front-seat passenger; the sun visors are in good condition as well.
The green carpet is in good condition and the Mini contains 4 black floor mats. It has a radio/cassette player and two original speakers. The electric sunroof is perfect and closes well. 

Mechanics:
Fully serviced 1275cc engine MPI with standard pistons (good compression) giving the Mini over 68HP. The gearbox is an original 4-speed and works properly.


The brakes are good, brake discs, pads, cylinders, hoses etc have been replaced.
 The suspension has good original shock absorbers and new brake linings.

The subframe is clean and rebuilt several years ago with new rubbers and bushings.
 The exhaust is original and works perfectly, the exhaust manifold is also in good condition.


Bottom:
A solid original bottom, fitted with original sills, coated front and rear subframe, good pipes and a clear Tectyl coat give the Mini a protective coating.
 The footwells have a few dents. 
The battery box and edges are all rust and damage free. The bottom is also entirely green, as is original.

Description:
This Mini is in very good condition and is maintained well. Almost fully original.
This British Open Classic is lovely to drive in.
