Beautiful vintage ''Ciro of Bond Street'' single-string pearl necklace dating to 1930s-40's 

Yellow gold clasp hallmarked for 9ct gold and marked "Ciro". 

The necklace comes with its original satin lined box from Ciro and certificate.

Very good vintage condition, some scuffing to box; some scuffing to pearls commensurate with age. 

In 1920 Ciro opened their store in Bond Street, London and afterwards they opened their flagship store in New York. Soon Ciro’s shops were such an important selling venue that Marcel Boucher was willing to add the Ciro name to his articles sold through their stores. This explains why you sometimes find pieces stamped both Boucher and Ciro.
