CHAMBERTIN: Grand Cru emblematic of Burgundy, adjacent to the Clos de Bèze, it has always been an exceptional terroir mentioned in the texts since 640 AD. Adored by the princely and imperial tables, his fame crossed borders. It was so strong that the winemakers took King Louis-Philippe to add Chambertin on behalf of the village Gevrey. This was granted in 1847, a formidable communication operation, also beneficial for trade. The other wine villages followed this example
