Een jaar na zijn eerste solotentoonstelling in galerie Au Sacre du Printemps in 1927 exposeert Kertész samen met man Ray en Nadar in Salon de l'escaleer. 

Dit is zijn eerste fotoboek uit 1933. In de jaren die volgen, zal Kertész nog diverse fotoboeken publiceren, met het alledaagse Parijse straatleven als belangrijkste thema. Daarnaast maakt hij veel objectfoto's, zoals van de bril van zijn vriend Piet Mondriaan. 


Softcover. Algemeen zeer goede conditie. Geïllustreerde omslag, 48 pagina's, 54 zwart-witfoto's, 30 x 23 cm. Rug vertoont kleine scheurtjes en is deels losgekomen. Naam van vorige eigenaar op eerste binnenpagina, sommige pagina's bevestigd met zuurvrije tape, voorts schitterend exemplaar.
