Volkswagen Golf II GTI 1st series 112 hp with 142,989 km.

This second generation Golf GTI is a beautiful specimen of the famous German Hot Hatch. It is finished in red and currently rests on Wolfsburg edition Braid rims and a Hiltrac suspension that gives it a truly spectacular look. Under the bonnet is the noble 1800 cc inline-four engine in the 8-valve version, which delivers 112 hp to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.

This specimen is a national vehicle with original Spanish registration plate. The current seller has been the last owner since 2012 and has kept it perfectly stored until now. It had 4 previous owners. 

The exterior is in good condition. It was externally painted 3 years ago and recently the left side sill has been repaired, as it had two small bumps. The plastic bumpers have some scuffing and wear typical of age. The seller believes that, given the condition of the bodywork and trim, the car does not appear to have been hit or involved in any accidents.

The interior features a manual sunroof, Pioneer radio and 2 keys. The upholstery of all seats is completely new, as is the roof. The gear knob is original and has the characteristic design of the early GTI. Overall, the interior is original and in good condition. 

Mechanically it is in good condition. The seller has no information if the timing belt has ever been changed, it might be worth changing the timing belt due to its age. A complete service has been carried out, with oil change, filters, spark plugs and new fuel pump. The clutch is in perfect condition, considering the mileage of the vehicle, it must be the original one. It is fitted with new HILTRAC threaded suspension, type-approved in the technical data sheet. It is fitted with Braid special series Wolfsburg edition rims with Bridgestone Potenza tyres. The last ITV (Spanish MOT) was in 2012 and it has hardly been driven since then.

The vehicle can be serviced if requested by the prospective buyer. 

Transportation to the buyer's place of residence can be arranged.
