Lotus Elan +2S 130/5, well preserved, in original condition. 

Owned by the same family of collectors since 1994 and presumably never restored. Used in recent years only for events and rallies.

The car is in fully original condition and very sound. The car body has typical flaws relating to its age and to the construction material (VTR), but presumably it was never repainted. 

The interior has been restored and is in very good condition. The mechanics have just been serviced at a specialised workshop in Milan with demonstrable work for over €5,000.  

The following work was carried out:
- Complete cylinder head resurfacing with seats and valves
- Set of gaskets with head gaskets
- Radiator overhauled
- Carburettors overhauled
- Tank overhauled
- Engine oil replaced
- Radiator fluid replaced
- Spark plugs

The car runs properly. Minor work may be required for daily use.  Inspection as required by law, valid for two years.

Rare Lotus Elan +2 130/5, registered in Italy with left-hand drive. Documents for regular transfer of ownership and black (Turin) number plate. 

It can be viewed and picked up in the province of Milan, by appointment with Catawiki.
