This beautiful and enigmatic lady is "Esmeralda". One of the many allegorical representations of Alphonse Mucha, Art Nouveau style.

Decorative wall mirror belonging to "The Precious Stones" series drawn by Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) in the year 1900. One of the most representative series of the Art Nouveau style. In this lot we present "Esmeralda" (Emerald).
It is important to note that this is an original piece from 1960 decade, when the Art Nouveau fashion revived in Europe. It is not a reproduction (see back side photographs). Framed in wood with golden details and with the original frame.
