Very beautiful paperweight named "Pink Champagne", designed by Colin Terris in 1987 and handmade by Caithness Glass, Scotland.

Stamped and numbered at the base

Spherical shape. The weight features a large balloon-shaped air bubble in the center surrounded by pink and white swirls. A pattern of perfectly controlled air bubbles (bullicante) near the surface.. Wonderful colour play and beautiful optical effects - especially with a suitable illumination.
 
Excellent vintage condition. As with any vintage glass object that has been in use, there may be some light signs of age and wear. These include, in particular, moderate signs of sliding on the stand area.
