Initially an acronym for High Performance Estate (after 1981 this nomenclature became HP Executive and led to the adoption of electronic fuel injection for the two-litre model). The Beta HPE resulted from a study carried out by Pininfarina and is considered to be the variant with rotating brakes of the coupé version, from which it differs in the rear (the front part of the car up to the door is the same as that of the coupé) and in the use of a rear bench with separately folding seats.

A very unusual colour, different from the classic light grey or metallic blue. 

Nice interior in fabric. All electrical parts work perfectly. The plastics of the dashboard and all the interiors are sound and without wear. The fixed rear window shade is immaculate and the optional retractable shade also works without problems. 

Within the engine compartment, details such as the seals, bonnet hinges and manufacturer's labels are still visible, reflecting its originality and perfect preservation. 

Unfortunately, due to a hailstorm last year, the car has a few dents on the roof which we decided not to touch to avoid distorting the originality of the vehicle. The problem can be solved with little expense. 

Besides the Volumex model (dual body carburettor), this was the highest model in the Beta range. 

The underbody, like the rest of the car, is undamaged, as proven by the burgundy colour inside the wheel arches of the car.
