A collection of Oromo-jewelry from the North-East of Ethiopia. A pair of low-grade silver anklets is presented, with the phallic-design as a symbol of fertility.
The pendants are about 13 mm. long. Nowadays this kind of jewelry is hard to find. Added are two Oromo-rings, made of nickle-plated copper rings. Well-used items. All pieces collected in situ in the 1990's.
