A rare gold seal ring with 'Sri' inscription From Rabuk, Purbalingga, Central Java, Indonesia, 8th - 10th century | 八至十世紀 印尼中爪哇 「Sri」印章金戒指

雪月藏亞洲藝術珍品

The oval bezel with Sri inscription, which is associated with Dewi Sri, the goddess of wealth and prosperity.

The text reads: ERI HANA (May there be richness) 

The translation is made by the Documentation Centre for Ancient Indonesian Art.

Weight: 17 grams

Dimension: 16 mm diameter of the bezel

Reference: Golden Splendour – Gold Jewellery from the Collection of Tuyet Nguyet and Stephen Markbreiter by Susan Ollemans 

Provenance: Polak works of Art, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, a copy of the invoice and gold lab test will be included for the highest bidder.
