1964 Land Rover Santana Series II, for restoring.

It is one from the first series assembled in the Spanish factory of Santana, all electrical components are British Lucas.  Unit in absolutely original condition, rescued after several years of disuse. Even much of the paint on the body is original, as seen in the photos. 

The only modification made was that they put headlights on the wings, a common modification given that in Spain in the 70s it was mandatory. Currently there are companies that sell new front parts, so it is very easy to return it to its original appearance.

It has all its original parts, including the translucent blue interior sunshade or the Bosch heating. The central and rear seats are in good condition, the two front sides have defects, but they are original. Includes the original 'Safari' metal roof. 

The headlights are disassembled but are inside. It was last used in 1985, and has been standing still ever since. The state of the mechanics is unknown, since no attempt has been made to start it. The chassis is generally in good condition, except for a couple of rusty areas that can be seen in the photos, which are easy to repair (there are companies that currently sell these new parts).

Overall this is an unusually original unit, a very good basis for a complete restoration. Old Spanish documentation of discharge, restorable.
