Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Cabriolet from year 1960 in very good condition.

This car has always been in Spain and it still has its original number plates from Madrid. This is not an imported vehicle but a European vehicle.
 
The vehicle has been restored with all the necessary parts replaced with new ones and sparing no expense. The bodywork was fully disassembled, the left side of the floor has been replaced. The right side was replaced years ago, and it just needed some minor repair, but it is as good as new. 

The car was completely disassembled in the year 2019. The entire process was carried out by professionals, who completed the work by sealing the welded parts and applying phosphate coating and anti-gravel primer for protection. New paint with high-quality finish was applied in 2020.

The engine has been fully repaired and it does not require any repair: new carburettor, petrol pump, cylinders, oil cooling pipes, oil radiator, new clutch, repaired gearbox, new exhaust silencer, etc. 

 The gearbox shifts smoothly and has no play; the plastic parts on the shift bar have been replaced to give the gear lever even more precision. 

The brakes have been redone with many new parts. The car has new whitewall tyres. New rubbers, door locks, many new parts throughout the vehicle.

The interior has been redone. Original TMI upholstery. New panels, seats, new tobacco-coloured carpet, the convertible hood is new with a camel-coloured exterior (it comes with mid insulation) and new interior made of perforated skai, like the original one. This type of convertible hood allows one to open the rear window in order to let air circulate. This is very handy on hot days for letting in air without lowering the hood. 

The bumpers are made of stainless steel and re-mounted. New exterior mouldings. New petrol tank, pipes, etc.  The engine has barely done 150 km to test it. This vehicle requires running-in.

The vehicle does not need any work; it is ready to enjoy.
Up-to-date documents as a Historic Vehicle in Spain. The vehicle has a 1200cc and 40cv engine, it rolls at 100km/h very comfortably, and it is very pleasant to drive because with its engine behind, there is hardly any more noise than that of the circulating air.
