A delightful antique silver-plated pepper grinder, measuring 10cm in height and weighing 178g, the body  decorated in late neoclassical style with foliate garlands between fluted Ionic columns, stamped to the foot rim with maker´s mark WMFN, a mark used by WMF from 1886 to 1903, the mechanism stamped Peugeot Frères, the original inventors of the pepper grinder (in 1842). 

Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age, minor surface corrosion to the steel.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
