Late 19th Century set of 6 majolica green glazed leaf molded plate, from Wedgwood. A classic mold showing a single large cabbage leaf against a basket-weave patterned rim. The deep green glaze pools beautifully into the dimensional mold work. Green glazed leaf plates rely on the 'intaglio' effect where glaze accumulates in the depressions of the mold as a stronger color.

Are available showing various date codes on the reverse.

In excellent to very good antique condition. Light wear to high points, very minor rim wear as expected.
