A beautiful antique early 19th century mahogany Davenport desk with numerals, stamped James Winter & Sons 151.153.155, Wardour Street, Soho, London.
 
Beautiful condition and very original, right down to the original dark red leather writing surface. Consisting of an extendable writing ramp with fixed interior, four drawers that can be opened on the right and four blind drawers on the left and a pull-out drawer on the left. This fine antique Davenport desk stands on wicker legs with original hidden castors and copper wheels underneath. This desk also has a pull-out pen drawer on the top right. The sliding leaf has a low twisted wooded gallery. Unfortunately, 1 small knob was lost with force (see photo). early and mid 1800'.
