Con la creazione di  Anna Gong, Mendini ha voluto rendere omaggio a un prodotto storico di Alessi: l’alzata pieghevole « art. 898 », vero best-seller degli anni ’60, vincitore del premio Macef design award.
Cinquant’anni più tardi, il progetto non ha preso neanche una ruga e possiede un’aria vintage molto alla moda!

Ottimo stato di di conservazione,  integra, lucida, pulita e funzionante. Il perno di bloccaggio è anch’esso integro e ben solido. I segni del tempo rivelano esclusivamente la presenza di graffi superficiali.





Alessandro Mendini presenta un oggetto con duplice funzione, scultura e alzata a tre livelli… 
Quando è aperta Anna Gong è un oggetto pienamente funzionale e con i suoi tre scomparti in acciaio lucido diviene un must per presentare in modo elegante qualsiasi tipo di cibo.

Quando Anna Gong è chiusa, è un oggetto decorativo da ammirare. 
Il viso sorridente appartiene proprio ad Anna, figura culto e ‘primogenita’ della famosa famiglia di cavatappi firmati da Mendini nel 1994. 

Per trasformare Anna Gong in alzata a 3 livelli, basta semplicemente sollevare la sua ‘chioma’.
