Importante scatola in lacca bruna e lacca rossa  primi '900 ,di provenienza cinese.
La scatola è finemente intagliata a mano, e negli intagli  si vede l'alternanza di strati di lacca bruna ( nera) a strati di lacca rossa. Questo gioco cromatico arricchisce maggiormente il prezioso intaglio a motivi geometrici.
Lo strato finale ,quello esterno ,è in lacca bruna,particolare che fa rendere l'oggetto raro e prezioso. 
L'interno della scatola è laccato di nero lucido mentre il bordo è in ottone.
Il fondo è laccato nero lucido con base in ottone.
