Klok, nog voor het uiteenvallen van Tsjechië en Slowakije gemaakt, dus vóór 1989. Later werd de fabriek van Prim-uurwerken, die in Nové Město nad Metují haar vestiging had, een Tsjechische onderneming die een paarjaar later werd overgenomen door de schaakklokkenfabriek GARDE in Duitsland.
Een PRIM-klok met het opschrift "made in Czechoslovakia" is dus één van de oudste. 

De originele doos is ook aanwezig en daaruit zou kunnen worden afgeleid dat de klok in 1972 werd gemaakt.
Klok is kennelijk ook nauwelijks gebruikt en ziet er als nieuw uit. 

Klok werkt uitstekend en zal goed verpakt en verzekerd worden verzonden.
