With its manual transmission, this 928 S4 is a rare sight. Most 928s, especially later models, came with automatic transmission.

Fortunately the days in which the 928 did not get the recognition it deserved are behind us, and this is very understandable.
It is a car with a unique design which can be called timeless. And it is also a wonderful car to drive.

I have brought the car to its current level in terms of repairs and maintenance and I have enjoyed it. When it comes to mechanics, the only parts that still need to be replaced are the rubbers of the rear suspension. 

Because of another project. And the new owner of this 928 can make it even neater and really 'finish' it while it is in use. The photos provide a good impression of the condition of the Porsche, but dropping by to view the car in person is still better of course.

The main things when it comes to maintenance, such as the timing belt, the water pump and related parts, have all been taken care of two years ago. After this, the 928 has been used to drive around 3000 km.

The interior shows clear signs of wear and is in need of attention.

The car drives and shifts well and it is wonderful to drive. 

The alternator has recently been replaced and the injectors have been cleaned.  The registration of the Porsche is currently suspended, but in consultation it can be sold with valid MOT.

The 928 also falls under the advantageous transitional regulations for classic cars in the Netherlands, so the vehicle excise duty is only €129.

This is a fully original version of this car, with the exception of the mirrors, which are rare Porsche cup mirrors that make the car a little more elegant in my opinion. These mirrors were also available as options for the GT and GTS.

The car has plenty of space for two people to go on road trips or to go camping. The boot is already quite spacious to begin with, but the rear seats can be folded down to make it enormous! At times I have used the car to bring two race bikes and additional luggage along on weekend trips.
