In een goede staat maar wel met slijtage plekken aan de onderkant, een helder ultramarijnblauw Savoy glazen vaas van de Finse ontwerper Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) voor Iittala, een ontwerp uit 1936. 

Noot: Enige krasjes, vlekjes en slijtageplekken aan de onderkant. Geen chips, fleabites of cracks. 

Afmetingen: Hoogte 16 cm x Diameter 20,8 cm. 

Achtergrondinformatie:
De beroemde Fins modernistisch architect en industrieel ontwerper Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) ontwierp de Aalto Collectie aanvankelijk voor zijn inzending voor de designwedstrijd van Karhula en Iittala in 1936. 
Vergeleken met de populaire stijl van die tijd sprong de collectie eruit, en dat is nog steeds zo. De iconische 160 mm vaas (ook bekend als de Savoy-vaas) in een helder ultramarijnblauw is een item dat opvalt in ieder interieur. De Aalto-vazen zijn mondgeblazen en handgemaakt in de Iittala glasfabriek in Finland. Bron: Iittala site.
