A beautiful Lotus Elan S2 1.6 Twin Cam from 1966. This is a former racing car in need of restoration. It does not have a registration number.

Inspection or MOT: no valid MOT. (The car is exempt from periodic vehicle inspection in the Netherlands.)

Maintenance condition: The engine is not stuck and has not run. Mechanically the car is 98% complete. The mechanics need to be checked in their entirety. 

Paintwork condition: The car has been repainted from red to yellow at some point. The car needs a complete, new paint job. The car is a restoration object. 

Interior condition: The interior is as good as complete. The car still has its original seats, which are upholstered with black vinyl. The interior needs to be restored as well.

Options: The car comes with a hardtop roof, a roll bar at the driver's side, its steering wheel at the left side, an odometer, a Twin Cam engine, an extra set of rims, two extra rims with tyres, and extra parts. The car is 98% complete and does not have a registration number. 

This Lotus Elan does not have any registration papers, nor are there any other papers included with the car. (The car's history is unknown.) The VIN can be found inside the car as well as on the type plate. The car will come with an invoice on which the VIN is mentioned. 

The car can be viewed and collected in Musselkanaal, the Netherlands. 
It can be viewed from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 17:00. The photos are part of the description, so please do have a careful look at them. 

It is recommended that you view the car before placing a bid. The vehicle must be collected within 4 weeks after the closing date of the auction. Storage costs will be charged after that.

The vehicle can also be delivered to your home.
