Ruby Red Lidded Coin Glass Bowl - 1887 Eagle & Torch

De Fostoria Glass Company was een fabrikant van geperst, geblazen en handgevormd glaswerk en tafelgerei. Het begon zijn activiteiten in Fostoria, Ohio, op 15 december 1887. Het verhuisde in 1891 naar Moundsville, West Virginia.

Na de verhuizing naar Moundsville verwierf het bedrijf een nationale reputatie. Fostoria werd beschouwd als een van de topproducenten van elegant glas. 

De fabriek werd op 28 februari 1986 definitief gesloten.
