We offer this nice Volkswagen T1 with 23 windows, with new interior (2022), sliding roof window and the pop-out windows at the front of course. 

This original VW T1 was restored in Brazil in 2018. The inside and outside were  painted in two-tone with the cheerful colour combination of red with a Lotus white roof. The chassis has also been painted completely in colour. This is not an original samba but a replica with the 23 sun windows and a newly installed sliding roof. The pop-out windows at the front, the chrome decorative frames and the chrome VW logo on the front complete this van! 

The van has been used regularly after the restoration. So there are visible signs of wear and some small spots in the paint. This T1 has the well-known air-cooled 1500-cc engine and it runs fine.

The interior of the van has been renewed completely and consists  of new side panels, new carpets, newly upholstered front seats and newly upholstered benches. Everything is made in a fine retro style. A new roof liner and a new folding roof of course, which can be opened. A new, original chrome-plated Volkswagen logo at the front, original VW rims with chrome hubcaps. 

Naturally, you will always be able to find something on a 50-year-old van based on origin and age. For example, the tank gauge does not work and the cover of the interior light is missing. The tyres need to be replaced. There are some signs of wear visible on the left and right because of the older restoration of the van. A protective cover (so-called "T1 nightgown") is included (this is the blue bag on the passenger seat in the photos).

This van was imported from Brazil and still has a Brazilian registration. All import duties were paid and customs papers will be included of course. The van will still take some work to meet local requirements, but you will have a nice T1 at a fraction of the cost of a European restored version. The van is being sold "as is". This is a private sale, warranty does not apply. The van is in Delden, the Netherlands. The van needs to be picked up within 14 days after the auction is closed.
