This Triumph TR7-5 is a true barn find. Fortunately, the barn was a shed belonging to a garage which ceased trading years ago. This TR7 has been part of the old company stock since 1995! It was then traded in and always kept indoors. Original Dutch TR7 with only 1 owner.

The TR7 now drives again. It will of course need a full technical check, but it can move. The 2L engine runs well again after cleaning the ignition, installing a new capacitor, some new sections of fuel line, a new battery and fresh petrol! The brakes move freely after 27 years. The main clutch cylinder moves freely, so the brakes and clutch work again. Really neat upholstery, a neat dashboard and neat plastic cover behind the seats. An extra steering wheel is included. The sunroof is an aftermarket item from the 80s. It does have some tears in the corners. The body is in fairly hard condition for a TR7.  Hard bottom and hard around the windows! It certainly needs welding, especially the right back corner (the black part) and some spots on the sills. 

The counter’s reading is 45,441 km, it is probably original. This is a TR7-5 with a good 5-speed gearbox and a better Rover rear axle. This TR7 hasn’t been tinkered with and is definitely worth it! The Triumph has a Dutch registration and an old paper registration.
