Vintage Seiko ‘slave’ marine clock. These Seiko ‘slave’ clocks were originally used on large Japanese cargo ships. These clocks were electrically connected to a master clock on board the ship, to keep track of the time accurately.
The clock is in working condition and now comes with a new quartz movement (AA battery, not included) and new dials.
Diameter of the clock is 22 cm. The original hands of the clock are included.
Dial colour: white (slightly discoloured). The housing is repainted by the crew in a dark blue colour, which gives a special patina to the clock.
Condition: Good. The glass is clear. In accordance with the original use on board the ship, some wear and salt deposit may be visible, see the photos.
