An impressive lozenge shaped vase from the early 19th century (Qing dynasty). 

The Kangxi style vase is modelled into its unusual losenge shape out of pure white paste porcelain, with a finely painted cobalt blue on white decoration.

The classic landscape scenes, with rocky mountains, water, islands, bridges and small pavilons with human figures cleverly exploits the angular shape to interesting effects.

A poetic inscription covers the reverse side.
