The Studio Magazine was a British magazine that was published 1893-1964. Starting with no. 1.
Four issues would form a complete part that was provided with a Roman number.
The lot consists of the numbers XXXI-LX + LXII. Bound in twelve volumes, meaning the monthly magazines 131-170 + 175-177.
The magazine had a lot of influence on the international development of Art Nouveau and the Arts and Crafts movement.
Condition: The books are all well bound. Hardly any foxing due to the high quality of the paper. The spine is somewhat stained here and there. One copy has some significant damage, see photos.
Many illustrations in black and white and in colour. Many page-wide illustrations are on thicker paper and are protected with tissue paper (see photos).
