African Baule/Yaure Mask from Ivory Coast 

This mask was taken out to dance in cultivators’ rejoicing festivities, to celebrate the good harvests and to implore the Gods for the next ones to be good as well.

Very interesting crest formed by a bird, symbolising fecundity. 
With scarifications on the temples. 

Finely carved hairdo. 

This mask is representative of Baule art, with a lovely balance between the forms and the volumes, as well as the finely carved details.

Objects are sent with insurance and track & trace.  
Express and secure shipment.  Parcels are sent from Monday to Saturday.  
The shipment takes between 1 and 3 days for France; 2 and 5 days throughout Europe.
