Osvaldo Cavandoli (Toscolano M.  1920 - Milan 2007). 

Italian animator, director and cartoonist, Cavandoli created and animated the character of 'La Linea' ('The Line'), chosen by Lagostina as the protagonist of its advertising campaign in which the original character with all its comedy, is born, lives and is animated with a single white line. 

The minimalism of the character and its slightly grumpy attitude have ensured the success of La Linea worldwide.

The figurine on offer is walking cheerfully, with a hint of a sarcastic smile and it is not clear whether he is planning his usual mischief or whether he has just been causing trouble as usual.

The figurine is original, collectable, and is fire-branded 'CAVA', the unmistakable signature of its creator Cavandoli.

Measurements: Height approx. 20 cm - depth approx. 13 cm
Colour: white.
In excellent condition.
