An antique floor standing brass plunger ship's fog horn by Tyfon of Sweden, its maker's plaque embossed with the serial number and the words:"Tyfon Trade Mark, Kockums Mek Verkstad, Malmo, Sweden'.  

The horn swivels through 360 degrees and stows in the vertical (downwards) position for compact storage.  The whole is mounted on a later wooden plinth 16cm x 27cm for display.  Overall height, in stowed position, 61cm.  Horn approximately 41cm long and 13cm in diameter.

There is a small dink half way up the base on 1 side. Doesn't make a sound, but understood from the dealer who sold it to me that this would be possible, just not tried it.
