Beautiful French spelter figurine of Flaminio Vacca's Medici lion, rolling a brass ball with his front left paw. Very ornate sculpture, with wonderful detailing to the lion's mane, eyes, jaws and paws.

Made in France, c. 1870's.

5 cm across at widest point

Very good antique condition. Some scuffing along the edges commensurate with age; 4 tiny surface nicks that don't go all the way through.
