Colledilà - un terreno presente da secoli nei registri catastali della proprietà di Brolio - è il cru di questo Chianti Classico che si distingue per la sua struttura complessa e la sua grande, moderna eleganza. La ricerca sui cloni originali che Barone Ricasoli ha realizzato negli ultimi quindici anni e quella che in parallelo è stata condotta sulle caratteristiche dei diversi terreni dell'azienda, sono risultate adesso in un Sangiovese in purezza capace di esaltare tutte le magnifiche doti questa uva.
Affinato per 18 mesi in tonneau da 500 lt questo rosso toscano è dal colore rosso rubino delicato.
Al naso è vino complesso, elegante, fine e persistente. Sentori di viola mammola, giaggiolo, frutta rossa matura e pepe, note di cioccolato bianco.
In bocca entra vellutato, pieno ed avvolgente, con tannini morbidi e leggera sapidità. Retrogusto lungo e persistente, esprime tutto il carattere del sangiovese di Brolio.
