The guitar builder 'RKS', founded by David Mason (among others:  Traffic), wanted to release a very special electric guitar because of their anniversary. This became a very special collector’s item: the only guitar that has been on the cover of 'Business Week' as the "only durable guitar" ever! 
The only electric guitar that won more than 5 prizes including: Pop Series Guitar 2005, Good Design Wave Guitar 2007, CoCreate Karma Sutra Guitar 2007. 
The story behind this topper is as special as the guitar. The designers of the RKS group were commissioned to design a durable guitar for the anniversary that was to become unparalleled in design, as instrument and as sound. AN UNEXPECTED MUSICAL INNOVATION, THE WORLD'S FIRST SUSTAINABLE GUITAR. The challenge included developing the right shape, ergonomics tone, balance and aesthetics for the guitar as well as a modular architecture that allowed easy customization.
