. G. Lufft Metallbarometerfabrik GmbH, located in Fellbach near Stuttgart.
They developed and have been producing (professional) meteorological instruments for more than 135 years.
This particular design and rare weather station from LUFFT was produced in the years 1950-1960.

A vintage Lufft weather station with an aneroid Vidi barometer and a Spiral-Strip-Bimetallic thermometer, and a hygrometer. 
Cool burl-walnut housing with beautiful craquelure and chrome accents.
Bevelled flat glass on the barometer and convex glass on the thermometer and hygrometer.
The frames around the instruments are made of nickel-plated brass.
Air-pressure display 70 - 79 mm mercury and 940 - 1060 millibars.
The barometer can be calibrated, by means of the adjustment at the back.
The entire set is in beautiful and original condition and fully functional.
The workings have been expertly cleaned, checked and adjusted.
Made in Germany, circa 1950

Art Deco and quite eye-catching!

Measurements are:
Width: 300 mm, Height: 133 mm and Depth: 54 mm.
Weight: 860 g.
