The brass bell has a designation "medicus curat becel sanat"
and features a snake image at the outer round of the bell.

The copper clapper has a heart shape. The bell is provided with a copper bracket on the top side.

Dimensions h. 6 cm, diameter 4 cm.

History : the bells were used by the sick.
Leper and leprosy patients in particular had to warn the environment of their arrival due to contamination.
The bell is flawless and has a very light/clear sound, completely original.
