Double legendary Dragon symbol and 4 lettered characters.

Very beautiful amulet to be worn on a string or to be collected.
In good condition, with signs of ageing and slight patina.
Asia, China. Estimated period: mid 20th century, maybe older, I let you judge for yourself.

Please note:

As guardians of treasure, Sino-Tibetan dragons are counterparts to Indian nagas.
The Tibetan term (tib.brug) means 'dragon' as well as 'thunder'.
A fantastic animal from the Chinese mythology, the dragon is the most revered legendary creature throughout Asia, especially in China.
Once a symbol of the Celestial Emperor, the dragon is rooted in Chinese traditions, philosophy and culture. At one time, people prayed to the mythical dragon, master of rain, in order to have good harvests.

Today, the dragon remains the epitome of power, strength, courage, but it is also symbolises protection,
a charm that attracts luck and prosperity.
