The Tigrito drinking/food bowl by Alessi was specially made for cats. The Tigrito cat bowls by Alessi are made of stainless steel and black plastic. It has two practical, removable stainless steel bowls, a capacity of 550 ml and are meant for cat food and water. Designed by Miriam Mirri.

It still looks very good, minimal signs of wear.

Bologna, 1964

Miriam Mirri graduated from the Scuola Superiore di Disegno Anatomico and also studied Design and Communication at the Università del Progetto. In the field of design, Mirri has collaborated with big names like Nigel Coates and Stefano Giovannoni. A lot of works of Mirri and Giovannoni are therefore similar.

In 2000 Mirri starter working more as a freelancer. For Alessi Mirri designed various troughs, for instance. In 2006 Mirri received the Fritz Henkel Award for innovation. Her work was also displayed at various national and international exhibitions.
