1938 Chrysler Wimbledon assembled in the English factory in Kew and sold new in France. 6-cylinder engine with 3,950 cc and 3-speed manual gearbox. In perfect running order.

Acquired by the current owner in 2007 and it underwent a restoration process that lasted about 2 years. The car was complete and with almost all its original components. 

All the original parts that could not be restored were bought in the USA: Those that were impossible to find were made again by craftsmen, such as the radiator and the petrol tank. 

There were only two door handles left, so a craftsman made a replica and all of them were replaced (i still have the original ones, which will be delivered with the car).

A French company made a replica of the upholstery so that the new one was like the original one, already very worn, to be restored. The decorative trims of the upholstery were restored and installed again.

All the restoration process is documented by pictures, invoices, catalogues, letters, etc. The folder includes also all the annual services performed afterwards to the vehicle.

The vehicle’s flaws are a small blister behind the rear bumper, a small scratch on the roof, and a slight scratch on the left side of the rear bumper. 

Registered as a historic vehicle in Spain. In the documents it appears as a Chrysler Imperial. With a valid vehicle inspection until 2024. Last service passed without remarks.
