A set of antique and vintage Spode ironstone plates in a beautiful Italian pattern.

The set comprises:

- 3 dinner plates. Diameter 26.5cm. Made ca. 1990s. One plate has a chip to the rim and another one has some hairlines.

- cake serving plate with moulded handles. D 25.5cm. Made in December 1926. There is a small chip to the rim.

- shallow bowl. D 22cm. Made ca. 1990s. Excellent condition.

- 2 salad plates. D 20cm. Made ca. 1963-64. Excellent condition.

- dessert plate. D 19cm. Date mark obscured, probably ca. 1930s. There is a chip on the underside of the rim.

8 items in total.

Made in England. Spode is one of the oldest British manufacturers of porcelain and ironstone ceramics, established in 1770 and rivalling Wedgwood.
