I am offering for auction a pair of superb early 19th century pair of oval pastel portraits. One is of two sisters and the other their brother. Both in gilt frames. Beautiful work that would grace any wall. Painted by listed artist Paul Jourdy. Both signed.

Condition. In fairly good condition. There is wear to gilt frames. Please view all images for condition. Ready to hang. 

Paul Jourdy entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris on October 30, 1820 . Pupil of Guillaume Guillon Lethière and Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres , Paul Jourdy obtains the 2nd price of Rome in 1828 and the price of Rome in 1834 . He exhibited portraits and paintings of history at the Salon from 1831 to 1853.
