Classic Swedish Army 1950's Mats Larsson M1909 Heavy Cotton Drill and Shearling Lined Winter Field Coat/Parka. This Coat is in Rare Clean and Perfect Condition, No Stains/tears/rips/damages. Buttons complete, Cotton and Shearling Clean,not tatty or missing pieces. Size 2 Which translates to a Medium/Large Size. Very large pockets. Quilted Sleeve Lining for better movement. Armpit Perspiration Slits under Sleeves. Triple Crown (Swedish Army) Stamped. Coat Weighs Approx 8 KG. These coats (made in the Township of Malung,Sweden) were often privately acquired or issued to and adjusted by German Officers in WW2 for Winter warfare. (Norway, Finland, Russian Front) and saw production from it's inception in 1909 through the 1960's. Great for Reenactment or Daily wear. As worn in various versions by Ed Harris in Enemy at the Gates, Bane in Batman The Dark Knight Rises and Bruce Willis in Twelve Monkeys. Very warm, heavy yet comfortable this coat is known as a wearable Volvo.
