This is a very old original Blaupunkt radio from 1956 with a nice chrome-plated steel front, the original rotary knobs, pushbuttons and the old Blaupunkt front. This is a lamp or tube radio, therefore the radio needs to warm up first. The radio works, but there’s no reception. Amplifier, light, buttons and suchlike are good and intact. I expect that this radio can be repaired. In any case, this is a gem in your classic car or a nice collector’s item.
This unit is switchable from 12 to 6 volts.
This radio was used in Borgward, Opel, Volkswagen, BMW, Panhard and other classic cars from the 1950s.
