This Minox - Model MX - production number 221481 is the lightest camera of all Minox models. This is caused by, among other things, the use of a winding button and a mechanical membrane shutter instead of a ‘push-pull’ film transport.

Asanuma Camera and Mechanical Laboratory (Acmel) produced this small and super lightweight Minox MX for Minox, along with the matching MX flash.  
Although the Minox MX is similar to the Acmel MD, the Acmel MD has a variable shutter speed and a CdS meter. They also sold a version, the MX, without CdS metering.

The camera is ergonomically curved and very attractive in terms of design.
This camera is in excellent condition and comes with corresponding battery for the flash, wristband and a copy of the user manual.
