Antique medical/scientific vibrating massage device, dating approx. 1920-1938, offered in (rare) original packaging.

The Puloconn consists of a hand crank whose rotation movement is transformed into fast back-and-forth movements of the rubber suction cup on the front of the device.

It hasthe inscription: "PULSOCONN PATENT 43832".

Gerald Joseph Macaura was a physician and graduated from the University of Chicago, he emigrated to England in 1904.  As a member of the Royal-Institute-of-Public-Health in London published his Macaura Institute in several European cities. 

The device could be deployed against numerous diseases and inconveniences; dyspepsia, lung diseases, flu, rheumatism, liver and kidney ailments, low back pain and treating an epileptic attack.
