A large and fine wine decanting machine by WMF made for slowly decanting aged wine or port in order to avoid sediments getting in to the glass. 

This rare decanting  machine is finely engraved with a circular pattern to the base. It works by turning the handle in order to lower or raise the wine bottle. 

Marked to the underside with WMF ostrich mark and the six petal flower meaning it was a special order.

Dates to ca. 1900

Standing 28 cm tall excluding the raised handle. 

Condition- In a good working order. The mechanism runs smoothly. Slight wear and tarnish to the silver plating
