Marcel Wanders designed this special Moooi Egg Vase S in 1997. One of the first things you learn in life is playing.  Playing with clay, making something and breaking it again, always learning to create something new.  Unfortunately, most people decide to stop playing when they grow up.

Not Marcel Wanders.  He has been able to translate his playful, creative qualities into an infinite number of beautiful designs, all created by continuing to use his imagination.  For the Egg Vase S, he had the bizarre idea of ​​making a porcelain "something" in the soft, round lines of a stack of eggs.  But what did it have to be and how could he achieve it?  He boiled a pile of eggs, put them in a rubber condom and used it as a mold for his porcelain Egg Vase!

The Egg Vase is made of white porcelain and has a glazed interior and an unglazed exterior, which gives a special effect.

Thee Egg Vase S is 9 cm wide en 10 cm high.
