Desk/table lamp designed by Marcel Breuer, made for the International Modern and Decorative Art Exhibition in Paris, 1925

The base bears the inscription "Exposition Marcel Breuer Paris 1925", on the base the canvas bears the inscription "Exposition Paris 1925".

The style is Bauhaus which is reminiscent of Art Deco; the use of nickel-plated brass is typical of Breuer. 

Rewired with cables and new bulb holder in accordance with regulations, in perfect working order.

In good condition, with small signs of age-related wear.
Fine patina.
