Inupiaq Eskimo mask in hard and grained wood, traces of wear. 

All in roundness and irony, this very expressive mask is marked by a succession of features: the eyes are formed by perfect circles, topped by eyebrows which increase the strangeness of the gaze, the mouth presents a mocking smile, it has a long and thin nose and geometric ears.  A set of features in which we can observe the richness of the cultural heritage and practices of this people.
